Arrives quickly and takes you where you want to go – almost like a car
No car? No problem!
What if you could reach any destination, near or far, without a car?
Whether it’s the bakery, the doctor’s, university, an event or the outdoor pool.
🚐 On-demand ridepooling makes getting around smart – as flexible as a taxi, as affordable as a bus. You book your ride spontaneously in an app, and it is shared in real time with other passengers. That means optimised routes, shorter waiting times and less impact on the environment.
Especially in a rural area like Gangelt, we need modern solutions rather than empty regional buses running to rigid timetables.
➡️ Imagine: you live in a small village such as Mindergangelt, yet you can get to the nearest express bus stop or anywhere else in Gangelt at any time. No car of your own. No long waits. No detours.
⏱️ And best of all: no more standing at the bus stop for ages. The app shows you live when your minibus will arrive – and whether other passengers will be picked up along the way. Completely transparent, all in real time.
📍 The service normally takes you to one of the municipality’s two central interchanges, Gangelt Amt or Birgden Kirche – where you continue by express bus.
🛤️ And if the express bus isn’t running? No problem – the ridepooling service will also take you to or pick you up from the railway stations in Geilenkirchen and Heinsberg. So you never miss a connection.
📲 The service runs every day – from early morning until late at night. So you can get around flexibly at weekends and after work, too.
🔁 This smart service is the modern successor to the familiar MultiBus – more digital, more reliable and far more flexible.
🚍 And perhaps one day the minibus will even drive itself!
MOIA is currently testing exactly that in Hamburg: a self-driving ridepooling minibus with a top speed of 90 km/h – with no driver at all.
🗳️ On 14 September: vote for smart mobility.
Get around smarter.
