Yesterday evening we formed our small council group. Three of us have made it onto the municipal council:
- Nicolas Kersten
- Sylvia Kist-Rawert
- Oliver Thissen
As Nicolas already chairs the local branch and has plenty on his plate, Oliver Thissen will lead the group, with Sylvia Kist-Rawert as his deputy.
Our priority now is to get up to speed as quickly as possible. The next council meeting is already on 25 September 2025. Chief executive Gerd Dahlmanns has invited us to the public part, as work on the 2026 budget will begin there.
The municipal administration will present the investments planned for the coming year.
Interested residents are also welcome to attend the public part of the meeting.
