Our local branch was not the only one affected by stolen, defaced and destroyed posters – other places in the district were hit too. Dr Sabrina Grübener, our candidate for district administrator, gave the following statement to Heinsberg Magazin (www.heinsberg-magazin.de, in German):
“Acts like these are nothing but attempts at intimidation and signs of intolerance – and we must not tolerate either in our society. We stand firmly against every form of hatred, violence and political extremism.”
